LR Goku, Pan and Trunks are a powerful LR trio, and the best leaders for the Dragon Ball Seekers Category. Their passive gives them a 77% ATK and DEF buff when performing a Super Attack, and adding on to that, they get an extra 77% ATK for doing an Ultra Super Attack, making them hit really hard. Along with that, they gain 1 Ki for every Dragon Ball Seekers Category ally, which in this case, is everyone, meaning they get an instant 15 Ki (8 from the leader, 7 from the passive), only needing 3 more for an immediate Ultra Super, discluding links. Both SA's also raise their DEF by 33% for either 1 or 3 turns, making them pretty suitable tanks as well. Their better links consist of Prepared for Battle, Legendary Power, Shattering the Limit and The Saiyan Lineage, along pairing Rival Duo with Giru. This, if done right, gives them instant access to the Ultra SA, and a 154% ATK boost, pretty much making this LR an unstoppable attacking machine!
LR Goku & Arale are a surprisingly strong F2P LR and serve as a free leader for this Category. Much like their TUR form, they seal the enemy's Super Attack on their own Super Attack, while their Ultra Super Attack greatly raises their DEF for 1 turn for further tankiness, helped by their LR stats which are still impressive for a farmable LR. They randomly change one Type of Ki Sphere on the field to Rainbow Ki, and gain 2 Ki and 30% ATK per obtained Rainbow Ki Sphere, allowing them to hit harder and achieve their Ultra Super Attack more easily. You can put them in the 1st slot to soak up hits - they'll reduce incoming damage by 30% as the 1st attackers in a turn, though of course they need to attack first to activate this skill. While their Link Skills might not be the best, their Rainbow Ki mechanic compensates for this, combined with fighting under a double 4 Ki lead and having Shattering the Limit.
Goku Jr. is the 77% Dragon Ball Seekers category leader and his usefulness spiked up quite a bit with his EZA. Losing his DEF -40% when performing a super attack in place of having a Ki +2 at start of turn along with ATK +60% when performing a Super Attack and has a chance for an additional ATK & DEF +60%, this makes him a very hard hitter, Goku Jr also helps with ki support with links such as The Saiyan Lineage and Shattering the Limit, furthermore his category Hybrid Saiyans helps other units on the team like Giru.
Kid Goku is the main category leader for both DB Saga & Youth and he is a great card for the team. His passive gives him an unconditional +77% ATK & DEF boost while also giving a further maximum boost of +59% ATK & DEF depending on your HP (the more the HP, the greater the ATK and the lesser your HP, the greater the DEF) similar to LR Bojack's passive. Furthermore, every turn he gets an additional +1 Ki and +10% ATK & DEF (up to 59%) for each turns passed and when your HP falls below 59%, he gets a free guaranteed critical hit once which combined with an active skill that cause free ultimate damage to enemy, it allows him to hit really hard. However, while he is a great card on his own, his links are what hold him back as having Fierce Battle rather than Shattering the Limit to link with the GT trios holds him back from his full potential although he does share The Incredible Adventure and Guidance of the Dragon Balls to link with To an Exciting Future Goku (Youth) & Arale Norimaki.
Giru is a F2P card that supports "Dragon Ball Seekers", doing quite a good job of it. His Passive Skill grants such allies Ki +2 and ATK & DEF +30%. If a "Hybrid Saiyans" Category ally is on the team, Giru gains Ki +2 and ATK & DEF +60% for himself. He's also a neat sealer as well as a support unit, further increasing his versatility despite his lacking Link Skills, though under a Ki +4 lead and with GT and Shattering the Limit being quite common in the higher tiers, it won't be much of a problem (he also shares Rival Duo with LR Goku, Pan & Trunks). This allows him to supply the formidable trio with a lot of ki and offensive power, making Giru amazing for helping them activate their Ultra Super Attack all the time, playing the supporting role just as he does in Dragon Ball GT.
INT Kid Gohan is the 40% Super INT support and while normally he would would be B due to his limited scope of supports, in this category where everything revolves around supporting the LR trios, this Gohan is among the top tier support of this category. His passive gives INT type allies +3 Ki while also giving +40% ATK and DEF for other Super INT units. Coupled with this Ki support, links such as The Saiyan Lineage & Prepared for Battle, and him being on the same category, he gives the LRs a total of +6 Ki and +255% ATK boost through him alone.
EZA Goten is a decent unit. He might lack a seventh Link Skill, but he does have Saiyan Warrior Race and Shattering the Limit, the latter of which will be more vital on this team. A "Hybrid Saiyans" unit that supports Giru's Passive Skill, Goten raises DEF by 30% for 3 turns after Super Attacking, bolstered by higher EZA stats and a Lv.15 Super Attack level. His Rampage disabling is useless here, but he does have a nice 70% ATK & DEF buff and changes PHY ki to Rainbow ki, which makes him a decent support to give Ki to the LR Trio.
Pan was already a decent card that was often overlooked but those times are about to end with her dokkan awakening. Her passive grants her ATK +70% and DEF +120% for 7 turns, she also raises DEF by +30% for 3 turns meaning she can tank hits even better, she might get an even better defensive buff than before however she is still very weak defensively that even with +120% she isn't guaranteed to take hits as well as expected, that is compensated with the new part of her passive which gives her +15% chance to dodge attacks, that can be stacked everytime she appears in a rotation up to 60% total, she is similar to Dyspo in some ways but a safer bet in terms of the "if the dodge doesn't work" scenario due to the extra defense. She links well with GT, The Saiyan Lineage, and Shattering the Limit which is a great amount of Ki links for the LR Trio. Otherwise, she can make a great unit for the team! As she supplies most links that the team uses.
Vegeta has recieved a very good upgrade since he came out on the 3rd anniversary. His awakening really helps out this team actually by quite a bit! For Starters, his links include Saiyan Warrior Race, Prepared for Battle, and Shattering the Limit which he shares with the LR Trio! His SA stacks his ATK & DEF by 20% for 99 turns! Allowing for massive damage with additionals and further uses of his Super. His Passive is where he mostly shows his spot here. ATK & DEF+90% while performing a Super Attack should be extremely easy to get due to his very common Ki links on the team. Along side this, he gets 6 KI and an additional DEF+60% when HP is 60% or below, allowing for massive tanking when the job calls for it along side a basically a Super Attack no matter what. Even then, the leader gives 4 KI anyways! Lately, when against Goku's Family category enemies’ Ki+1 at the start of every turn and ATK+60%. In the end he makes a powerful place on this team. What holds him back is his links are kinda bad when looking pass the other 3 links. Otherwise, a amazing unit to use!
The new LR Pan is a pretty decent card, and it is especially in this case on Dragon Ball Seekers. She possesses stun chances on both of her Super Attacks, and can recover 33% of the damage she dishes out as HP. Pan also has a 50% chance to reduce damage by 55%. She also has decent links, and with the LR trio alone, has GT, Shattering the Limit, The Saiyan Lineage and Legendary Power to link with. Her issues of collosal multiplier on both SA's, a low ATK stat to lower her benefit of her 33% heal, and a poor stat distribution are still present, but with her Active Skill of 33% ATK for one turn, her healing can certainly come in a lot more handy, also giving the LR trio a LOT more power than they already had if used alongside them. All in all, LR Pan can be certainly useful on this team, being a respectable tank and excellent healer.
Vegeta is the Extreme INT 50% lead. His passive gives +3 ki to INT type allies, and +40% ATK and DEF to Extreme INT allies. Even with the Extreme INT boost, there are so many Extreme INT units on this team to choose from! Vegeta still supplies Ki to the LR Trio also! He also share disappointingly 1 Link and that is Saiyan Warrior Race. But if you plan on Running some Extreme INT units he can have some fair use. Even in the end, he also has a rare chance to stun, which can come in handy in some events!
Zamasu is a Unit of which doesn’t fit as well as he would in a category similar to Future Saga as he has link partners like Goku Black. Here Zamasu doesn’t have much of a place but as a replacement for a missing unit you may had not pulled. His links won’t match up with the leaders of the category at all! Most of the time he won’t link with anybody. Otherwise, his Passive provides him with a ATK & DEF+60% depending on the more HP you have, which in a Category like this shouldn’t be to hard to manage. Along side this, he makes himself out to be a amazing tank! Having a damage reduction of -40% and also the ability to recover lost HP by 7% on super! His Best link partner in the category as a whole is “” which the problem is that Frieza has to reach his Final Form to be a help to Zamasu, or you could use . In the end, Zamasu isn’t a great unit on this category. Only to be used if lacking better units.
This Vegeta has aged quite a bit. He gains ATK & DEF +70% when HP is 80% or below, which while not difficult to acquire, is relatively subpar compared to modern units. His Great Ape form can be useful as he doesn’t take any damage however he risks messing up rotations so it’s not necessarily recommended. He is a great linking partner to most Extreme units on the category, being the best partner to PHY Vegeta, sharing with him "Saiyan Warrior Race", "Royal Lineage", "Over 9000" and "Shattering the Limit". He also has "Big Bad Bosses" which he can share with units such as Lord Slug and Transforming Frieza.
Champa has underwent a significant buff through his Dokkan Awakening. However he is in no way suited for this category team. His Passive only boosts "Universe 6" allies, which is useless as he is the only unit on this category that is also in the Dragon Ball Seekers category. He does have "The Innocents" which multiple units share with him, though overall while he is a great unit, he wasn’t made for this team.
This Bulma is a subpar unit in desperate need of an Dokkan Awakening. She only does extreme damage and has a rare chance to stun which isn’t very good when there are better stunners on the category. She gives Ki +2 to allies and stuns all enemies, though it is a 25% chance which is fairly low. Her links are decent as she has "Rival Duo" with LR Trio as well as "The Incredible Adventure" and "Guidance of the Dragon Balls" with LR Goku & Arale. The main problem with this unit is that the TEQ Bulma has the same name.
Bunny Bulma is a subpar unit who is also in need of an Dokkan Awakening. While she only does huge damage on her SA, she can seal enemy’s Super Attack with it. Her Passive is extremely weak, giving all allies ATK & DEF +3000. She also has fairly weak stats meaning she is lacking in both offence and defence. Her links are decent as she has "Rival Duo" with LR Trio as well as "The Incredible Adventure" and "Guidance of the Dragon Balls" with LR Goku & Arale.
Pinich is a unit that was very much lost to time. He has little to no redeeming qualities whatsoever. He can only do huge damage which is poor for an SSR, his Passive gives him a low ATK boost on SA but no DEF boost, and his stats are abysmally low. He has only 4 links: "The Innocents", "Saiyan Warrior Race", "More Than Meets the Eye" and "The Saiyan Lineage" so while he can link decently with the LR Trio, there are other units on the category that link better than this unit. Overall, he is an outdated unit that should not be used on any team.
Released in the same event as Pinich, Tekka just as bad as him if not worse. He suffers similar issues to Pinich, having no DEF boost on passive, only causing huge damage on SA and having very low stats. His Passive does give ATK +25% to all allies though it has 50% chance to activate as well as the fact that there are other F2P units that offer far more to allies on this category. And his links are terrible, only having 4 links with his only common link being "Kamehameha" which only gives ATK +2500 when performing a Super Attack. Overall he is a unit that, like Pinich, should not be used on any team no matter the circumstances.
Super Saiyan 3 Bardock is the category leader for Super Saiyan 3 and is an amazing card all around. He gets a +100% ATK and DEF boost when performing a Super Attack and when your HP falls below 70%, he gets an additional +40% ATK boost to all Super allies which equates to giving himself a +180% ATK boost (or +255% for the LR GT trio) while his Super Attack has a medium chance to seal. While his links aren't too great here, he shares Prepared for Battle to link with the LR GT trios for Ki.
This Goku as an LR that is won from completing the Super Battle Road and is an excellent support for the team and can act as a capable substitute leader if you lack the LR Trio. His passive gives all his allies +2 Ki and +30% ATK and DEF and when your HP is below 50%, he provides another +20% ATK and DEF boost to your allies, which allow his teammates to tank and hit even harder. As a support, he can also defend himself due to his passive allowing evade enemies attack and having LR stats to take hits well. His Super Attack can also either stun the enemy, or boost allies ATK by +30% for 1 turn for further damage. While his links aren't really that great with only Saiyan Warrior Race, The Saiyan Lineage, and Legendary Power that allow him to link with the LR Trio, Goku's main role is to support and he more than makes up for it.
Ultra Super Saiyan Goku ranks among one of the best support if you want to build a team specifically to focus on the LR trios. His passive gives +2 Ki and +25% ATK & DEF to all TEQ and INT allies which the LR are a part of. And when combined with links such as Prepared for Battle and Shattering the Limit, he will give a total of +6 Ki to the LRs allowing to start with 14 Ki and the ATK boost means that it will go as high as 217.5% allowing them to hit really hard. Of course while he doesn't support other types, LR Goku, Pan and Trunks are so much more powerful than the other cards of this category that this card is declared S-tier because of the power gap.
Extreme Z-Awakened Goku (GT) is an alternate "Shadow Dragon Saga" Category leader and a powerful free nuker. He gets ATK & DEF +12% per Ki Sphere obtained and an additional ATK +20% and Ki +2 if the Ki Sphere in question is a Ki Sphere. To further support this ability, Goku also randomly changes one Type of Ki Sphere to Ki Spheres if a "Shadow Dragons" Category enemy opposes the team. Allies get a nice 30% DEF boost for 1 turn when Goku launches his Universal Spirit Bomb (Extreme). As the first Goku to have Saiyan Pride, he really is something special, though he can really only activate it with a few units. However, he does share half of the amount of links that LR Goku, Pan, & Trunks have like GT, Saiyan Warrior Race, and Shattering the Limit to further synergize with the team.
