The leader of Kamehameha and an alternate leader for Super AGL, Super Saiyan Gohan (Youth) is an amazing card. He stacks DEF on both Super Attacks, making him self-sustainable as a defender. He begins with 100% ATK & DEF, with an additional 1 Ki (up to 5) and 10% ATK & DEF (up to 70%) at the start of each turn. Much like in the anime, Gohan unfortunately takes a lot to transform into Super Saiyan 2 via Active Skill. You either need an Android #16 ally on the team or an Androids Category enemy or ally present at the start of the 5th turn - oh, and both conditions also require HP to be at 58% or less. But once Gohan lets his hidden strength erupt, he becomes a merciless force on the battlefield. He no longer stacks DEF but greatly raises it for 1 turn instead on both Super Attacks (along with ATK on his Father-Son Kamehameha). Much like his INT counterpart, Gohan is a devastating nuker. He gets 20% ATK, 7% DEF and an extra 1 Ki per Ki Sphere, making it easy for him to hit super hard, even without too much Ki available. When facing a single enemy, he will randomly change one Ki Sphere type to Rainbow. When facing multiple enemies, Gohan will launch an additional Super Attack. Finally, if his Super Saiyan father is attacking on the same turn, Gohan gets an additional 59% ATK when Ultra Super Attacking. His links of Super Saiyan, Golden Warrior, Prepared for Battle and Fierce Battle can easily be shared with the team, along with the omnipresent Kamehameha. It's your day of destiny, Gohan!
Super Saiyan 4 Goku is one of the best choices for Kamehameha. He massively raises DEF on both Super Attacks (along with ATK on his Ultra Super Attack), which helps him defend quite well. Goku gets ATK +80% along with DEF +20% (maxing at 80%) at the start of each turn, and an extra 2 Ki per Rainbow or AGL Ki Sphere obtained, making it super easy for him to get a Super Attack. He also has a medium chance to evade and counter enemy Super Attacks, and his Active Skill massively raises ATK to cause ultimate damage to an unlucky target. His best partner here is Inklings of Ultimate Power Super Saiyan 3 Goku (GT) (Golden Giant Ape), who not only provides him with extra ATK but also Super Saiyan, Kamehameha, GT, Fierce Battle, and more importantly, Saiyan Roar.
Goku's sons are the primary Siblings' Bond Category leader. They greatly raise ATK for 1 turn on both Super Attacks to hit extra-hard. They start with a deceptively low 58% ATK & DEF boost, disable Rampage from the Broly event, and have a medium chance to launch an additional attack with a chance of becoming a Super Attack. They also get 1 Ki (up to 5) and 10% ATK & DEF (up to 100%) per attack performed, which covers for a lack of ki links (their sole Golden Warrior not providing them much ground). Their Family Kamehameha massively raises ATK temporarily to deal astounding amounts of damage, though you need to be at 59% or less HP and facing a single enemy after 3 turns of battle have passed in order to launch this attack. While they might lack strong ki links, they boast a plethora of great attacking links, including Super Saiyan, Kamehameha, Blazing Battle and Fierce Battle.
Goku & Vegeta are currently the best Potara lead, and a great unit on Kamehameha. They have an unconditional 120% ATK & DEF boost and gain 2 extra Ki from Rainbow Ki. They also raise ATK for 1 turn upon Ultra Super Attacking to hit exceptionally hard. It might take a while to get to the 6th turn of battle at or under 50% HP, but once Super Vegito makes his appearance, it's all worth it. Goku & Vegeta's previous 120% stat boost is increased to Vegito's 150%, and he now gains 3 extra Ki from Rainbow Ki. He boasts his signature counterattack ability, raises allies' ATK by 30% for 1 turn upon Ultra Super Attacking, and will fully recover HP upon entering battle for the first time, letting him dominate the fight to no end. By linking up with Fused Fighting Force Super Saiyan Goku (Angel) & Super Saiyan Vegeta (Angel), unfused or fused, this beast of a card can activate all but one Link Skill.
Goku & Vegeta are one of the Fusion leaders, functioning quite well on Kamehameha. They have an unconditional 120% ATK & DEF boost and gain 2 extra Ki from Rainbow Ki. They also raise ATK for 1 turn upon Ultra Super Attacking to hit exceptionally hard. It might take a while to get to the 6th turn of battle at or under 50% HP, but once Super Gogeta makes his appearance, it's all worth it. Goku & Vegeta's previous 120% stat boost is increased to Gogeta's 150%, and he now gains 3 extra Ki from Rainbow Ki. He boasts his signature all-Type effectiveness, lowers ATK & DEF upon Ultra Super Attacking, and will fully recover HP upon entering battle for the first time, letting him dominate the fight to no end. By linking up with Fused Super Power Super Saiyan Goku & Super Saiyan Vegeta, unfused or fused, this beast of a card can activate all but one Link Skill.
Vegito Blue is the rainbow leader for the Super Class and when it comes to being a hard hitter he is excellent at it. His passive skill enables him to launch at least two additional attacks each of which as a 25% chance of being another Super Attack and he also gains a bonus +15% ATK for each attack landed (up to 150%) so while he needs to set up to get such a large DPS, over time, he eventually begins hitting hard especially if you are lucky enough to get 3 Super Attacks in a row which is helped by their Kaioken effect that raises ATK and DEF during a Super Attack along with an amazing 160% Ki multiplier. Unfortunately, his lack of Prepared for Battle really hurts him, requiring Over in a Flash units to link with him such as Peerless Gleam Super Saiyan 4 Gogeta.
INT LR Cell, leader of the Androids/Cell Saga Category, is an absolute titan with a glaring weakness: a transformation condition of 30% or less HP. Even with this problem, Cell still dominates the battlefield. In his Perfect Form, he massively lowers DEF upon Super Attacking and greatly raises ATK for 1 turn upon Super Attacking. He begins with 80% ATK & DEF and further raises DEF by up to 80% - a greater boost with more HP remaining. He also takes cues from his PHY counterpart, gaining 1 Ki and 20% ATK per existing enemy. If you manage to get him to transform while staying alive, it's all worth it to see Perfect Cell in action. Like LR Gogeta & Vegito, he fully recovers HP to avoid remaining under such a daunting threshold. He still massively lowers DEF upon Super Attacking, but now lowers ATK & DEF upon Ultra Super Attacking, wonderful for debuffing the enemy. Now, Cell takes cues from EZA STR Cell by accumulating Ki Spheres - he begins with 4 Ki and 120% ATK & DEF, and gains an additional 20% ATK & DEF per 4, 6, and 8 Ki Spheres obtained, meaning you'll want a ki changer of sorts on the team to maximize Cell's damage output. Finally, his Active Skill, which requires you to face only a single enemy, greatly raises Cell's ATK, causes ultimate damage to the enemy and massively lowers DEF. You'll want to link Cell up with a Perfect Cell, since he unfortunately lacks Shocking Speed with his PHY counterpart but shares Ultimate Lifeform, Kamehameha, Revival, Messenger from the Future, Big Bad Bosses and Fierce Battle with all 3 EZA Perfect Cell units.
Ah, the original Father-Son Kamehameha Gohan. Not only has his 18 ki super attack been revamped (the boy walks!), he remains one of the most outstanding hard hitters in Dokkan Battle, thanks to his nuking Passive Skill. He gets 1 additional Ki and 18% ATK per obtained Ki Sphere, allowing him to Super Attack quite easily. He also greatly raises his ATK for 1 turn after Super Attacking, so if he gets an additional Super Attack it will be magnified in strength. He has Super Saiyan, Kamehameha, Prepared for Battle, Shocking Speed and Fierce Battle as his best Link Skills, making him one of the best linking partner for his AGL counterpart on Kamehameha.
Namek Saga transforming Goku is the main leader for both Super Saiyans & Planet Namek Saga and he proved to be an awesome card beyond his spectacular animations. His initial passive gives himself an unconditional +77% ATK & DEF boost while also getting an additional +15% ATK & DEF for each attack received and since they're calculated separately, therefore his boost can go as high as +181.43% while his Large Spirit Bomb gives +30% ATK boost to his allies. Furthermore, when your HP falls below 70% at the start of the 3rd turn, he transforms into the very first Super Saiyan where in this new form, he gains +80% ATK & DEF boost and when he receives an ATK, he gets a permanent +59% boost, up to +186.2% and he also has a medium chance to guard against all attacks and when triggered, it will last for three turns and gives himself a high chance to deal a critical hit. His Kamehameha also raises his DEF infinitely which makes him particularly useful against Goku's Legendary Battle. And that's not the end of it, when your HP falls below 50% at the start of the 5th turn, he unleashes his full rage where for 1 turn, you are completely invincible and can launch a super attack as early as 8 Ki, backed by him changing one Ki Sphere into rainbow spheres. As an added bonus, since he is treated as Super Saiyan Goku upon transforming, he is able to give Gohan the last push needed to charge his Father-Son Kamehameha to his full potential for massive amounts of damage. His links are excellent here as he shares Prepared for Battle, Shocking Speed, Z Fighters & Fierce Battle and upon transforming, he also inherits Super Saiyan & Golden Warrior to link with the rest of the team.
EZA Super Saiyan God SS Goku is the 120% Mono AGL EZA leader. He may still lack (Kaioken) or (Super Kaioken) in his name, but man did Bandai make him a beast. Like so many other Kaioken units, he greatly stacks his ATK upon Super Attacking, along with sacrificing 5% HP, which is manageable for the most part. He begins with an unconditional 59% ATK & DEF and gains an additional 59% ATK & DEF for 10 turns from the start of turn. On turn 9, Goku's power will momentarily soar to boost ATK by 59% a third time and perform a one-time critical hit, and since you've probably been greatly stacking his ATK during the previous turns, this 10x God Kamehameha is going to demolish foes. As one of the few units to have all three primary Ki links - Prepared for Battle, Over in a Flash and Shocking Speed, he is extremely useful for filling linking gaps in the Kamehameha team. In addition, he has Super Saiyan, Warrior Gods, Kamehameha and Fierce Battle. Absolutely bonkers.
EZA Goku / Gohan are surprisingly viable on Kamehameha for several reasons, mostly involving Super Saiyan Goku. He raises his own DEF and lowers the enemy's ATK upon Super Attacking, increasing your survivability. He gets 50% ATK & DEF at the start of the turn, and provides Goku's Family allies with 2 Ki and 30% ATK & DEF, making him a powerful supporter. In addition, Goku can activate the Passive Skill requirements for both AGL & STR SS2 Gohan, which when coupled with Super Saiyan, Golden Warrior, Prepared for Battle, Kamehameha, and his supporting passive, makes him a stellar partner for the two. After Exchanging via Active Skill, Gohan will fight in his father's stead, which keeps him from providing the aforementioned benefits to other Gohan units, but makes this Gohan a great unit on his own. He raises ATK & DEF for 1 turn and lowers the enemy's ATK & DEF upon Super Attacking, gains 3 Ki and 90% ATK & DEF to himself, and strikes back against Androids/Cell Saga foes with an additional 50% ATK & DEF, 2 additional attacks and a high critical hit chance. His links, save for Kamehameha (now The Saiyan Lineage), remain unchanged. All in all, a very helpful tag-team.
Great Saiyaman SS2 is the 25th WT reward who is an excellent support unit for the team. His passive gives Ki +2 and 30% ATK & DEF to all Super Class allies and lowers Extreme Type's DEF -50%. He also links excellently with the team, featuring Super Saiyan, Golden Warrior, Shocking Speed, and Prepared for Battle.
LR Super Saiyan God Goku is the new LR leader for both Pure Saiyans & Hybrid Saiyans and he's a great unit to have on this team. His initial passive gives himself +77% ATK boost while also giving himself up to +5 Ki and +55% DEF for every other Pure and Hybrid Saiyan units on the team. Additionally for 7 turns from start of battle, he also gets a high chance to evade enemy attacks along with performing a critical hit so in events such as SBR or Battlefield, this passive will last long enough to use Godku to his full potential. Unfortunately his links aren't really that good; while he has Super Saiyan, Warrior Gods, Godly Power and Over in a Flash, having Shattering the Limit instead of Fierce Battle is a rather big letdown which hampers his damage output a bit although on the plus side, it does allow him to link rather well with Golden Fist Super Saiyan 3 Goku.
EZA STR Perfect Cell has risen above and beyond his counterparts, partly because although he lacks Ultimate Lifeform and Attack of the Clones, he has Shocking Speed, a much more versatile Link Skill. He stacks ATK & DEF on both his AoE and normal Super Attack, the former of which also recovers 10% HP. Cell begins with 100% ATK and 50% DEF, plus an additional 30% ATK & DEF when 6 or more Ki Spheres have been obtained, meaning you'll want to get a versatile Ki changer to really make Cell shine. When facing 2 or more enemies, Cell will lower their ATK & DEF by 20%, turning him into a menacing debuffer. All of this, combined with ugpraded EZA stats, results in an amazing unit you definitely want to use on Kamehameha.
After Extreme Z-Awakening, Gohan has drastically improved into an astounding offensive unit, and an alternate leader for this Category. He is much more suitable as a possible replacement for his INT LR counterpart now, greatly raising ATK for 1 turn upon Super Attacking which couples well with his immense multiplier. He begins with 3 Ki and 77% ATK & DEF at the start of the turn, and when Super Saiyan Goku is also attacking in the same turn, he'll gain an additional 59% ATK when Super Attacking, which allows Gohan to outright demolish opponents. His links of Super Saiyan, Golden Warrior, Kamehameha, Prepared for Battle and Fierce Battle remain unchanged and viable for this team, and though his defensive stat didn't get much of a raise, his attack stat has been properly boosted to display Gohan's true might. He shares all but 1 link with AGL Gohan.
Goku Black is main category leader for Time Travelers and he in okay unit to have here. His passive gives himself +40% ATK boost at the start of each turn, up to +120% and he also gets an additional +5% chance of critical hit for each attack received, up to 40%. However, Goku Black has no initial DEF boost unless he continually uses his Super Attack which infinitely stacks his DEF so he starts out as weak and only becomes better later which makes him suited for Goku's Legendary Battle. Additionally, after 6 turns when his HP is 80% or above, he transforms into his Super Saiyan Rose form where in his new state, he now gains an unconditional +150% ATK boost as well as a high chance to inflict a critical hit while also giving the other Extreme class allies +3 Ki while still retaining the infinite DEF stack from his base state. However, such transformation is incredibly restrictive, on par or perhaps even worse than both the LRs as the only event where you would realistically obtain it is again on Goku's Legendary Battle. He has okay links here as he shares Prepared for Battle, Big Bad Bosses and Fierce Battle as well as Super Saiyan and Kamehameha upon transforming.
LR SS3 Goku is the LR lead for Super TEQ but while he may be among the hardest hitters in the game, the setup and Ki support required makes it far more trouble than it's worth. His passive gives him a +120% DEF and when launching an Ultra Super Attack, he gets a whopping +180% ATK boost which makes him hit incredibly hard but he loses -70% DEF in the process. Note that it's not reduced to +50% DEF, you are literally losing even your base DEF so watch out. Another downside to this is that he requires a lot of support since he won't be able to get the Ultra Super consistently even after having a partner with Over in a Flash or Shattering the Limit (nobody in this category have both those links at the same time) and his normal Super Attack hits like a wet feather.
TEQ EZA Perfect Cell more or less relies on accumulating lots of Ki Spheres to deal damage, gaining 15% ATK & DEF per Ki Sphere and an extra 1 Ki per Rainbow Ki Sphere, but he can hit extremely hard when enough Ki has been obtained. He also recovers 10% HP upon Super Attacking, making him a useful healer. Generally, Ultimate Lifeform and Attack of the Clones will be his only useful ki links, but he also has Big Bad Bosses, Kamehameha and Fierce Battle for attacking power.
Transforming Super Saiyan Goku is a decent choice for Kamehameha. Concerning the leader Gohan, he won't be able to activate Gohan's Family Kamehameha buff due to Gohan having to wait to transform on possibly turn 5, and by that time Goku would likely already be transforming into his Super Saiyan 2 form, nullifying any chance of getting that particular boost. However, Goku still functions well on the team thanks to stacking ATK & DEF upon Super Attacking before Super Saiyan God SS and his damage reduction, which increases with transformation to make up for no DEF at all in his final form. As Super Saiyan God SS Goku, he performs a one-time critical Super Attack, which has a great chance to stun. His links are constantly changing, and though he might share Kamehameha with everyone, he'll lose it once he ascends into Super Saiyan God form. Even so, Goku still has Super Saiyan and Fierce Battle in every form, along with Prepared for Battle up to SS2 and Over in a Flash in SS3, accompanied by Shocking Speed from God onwards.
Super Saiyan 4 Goku is the 120 lead for Super STR and despite being old, he still remains a great card. His passive gives him an unconditional +150% ATK boost while having a medium (30%) chance of evading and countering an enemy super attack although the low chance means that you shouldn't rely on it too much. He links excellently in this team, featuring Prepared for Battle, Super Saiyan,Shocking Speed, and Fierce Battle. He also shares Saiyan Roar with SSJ3 Ape Goku giving him the massive 25% attack buff.
Despite having no ATK boost to himself, PHY Vegito Blue still remains a strong unit. His passive allows him to launch up to two additional attacks with a rare chance of becoming a Super Attack while also allowing him to counter enemy attacks which allow him to deal a good amount of chipping damage that combined together, still allows him to hit hard. Further more, unlike TEQ Vegito Blue, this Vegito has Prepared for Battle which allows him to link better with his team and makes him a decent alternative if you lack the TEQ counterpart.
The leader of "DB Saga" and also "Youth", Penetrate! Goku is incredibly powerful. On this Category, where old-school Dragon Ball-style Link Skills are difficult to activate, Kamehameha, The Innocents and Fierce Battle will be his only reliable links available. If there's any ki shortage, Goku definitely makes up for it by granting himself 1 Ki (and 10% ATK & DEF with a max of 59%) at the start of each turn. He'll gain two separate additional boosts of ATK and DEF respectively, each maxing out at 59% and becoming greater boosts with greater HP remaining. Goku will also perform a one-time critical hit when HP hits 59% or below. Goku's Bending Kamehameha has a medium stun chance, and he also wields Penetrate! as his Active Skill, dealing out ultimate damage to an unlucky enemy.
While originally, the Global version of Goku Black is superior to his JP version in every way, his Extreme Z-Awakening turns him into a far better card. While he unfortunately lacks the Global's +3 Ki support to Extreme Class allies, his passive nuking ability has been drastically upgraded into a percentage +15% ATK & DEF boost on par with EZA TEQ Cell. In addition, he also gets +1 Ki (up to 5) for each attack received which allows him land consistent Super Attacks on the next turn after and the latter now greatly lowers the enemy's ATK and DEF. As an added bonus, if he encounters a Goku's Family enemy, he can randomly change one Ki Sphere into Rainbow spheres and his nuking passive has been upgraded to +20% ATK & DEF which could make him a great Goku killer especially against his very difficult Legendary Battle. His links are decent on this team, featuring Fear and Faith, Prepared for Battle, Nightmare, Dismal Future, Big Bad Bosses and Fierce Battle.
20x Kaioken Goku is a great card to have for this category. His passive gives him an unconditional +80% ATK & DEF boost and he also gains an additional +20% ATK for each attack received, up to 120% and since those passive boosts are calculated differently, therefore he gets a boost as far as +296% and when backed with him greatly raising his ATK on super, it allows him to hit really, really hard for normal SSR unit. His links are also decent in this team, featuring Prepared for Battle, Shocking Speed, All in the Family and Fierce Battle.
EZA Family Kamehameha Super Saiyan Goku is one of the better SS Goku's to have on the team. His passive gives himself +3 Ki as well as +80% ATK & DEF when your HP is 30% or above and his Supers also raises all allies' ATK by 25% for 1 turn. While he is unfortunately brought down by his lack of Prepared for Battle, he does have Golden Warrior as well as Blazing Battle to link with LR Gohan and Goten. Being named Super Saiyan Goku really helps Awakened True Power Super Saiyan Gohan (Youth) once he transforms, as having a Super Saiyan Goku attacking on the same rotation boosts Gohan's attack by 59%.
LR Uub is F2P LR obtained from the Virtual Dokkan Clash but while Uub himself is a great free-to-play card, his inconsistent passive and links unfortunately prevent him from ever climbing further. His passive gives him up to +6 Ki and +90% ATK and DEF depending on your HP (the greater the HP the higher the boost) and while that is an okay passive on its own, his transforming conditions require that your HP falls below 40%. Speaking Majuub, he recovers 40% HP upon transforming, gets an unconditional +100% ATK and DEF passive and he also changes Ki spheres to rainbows which helps land super attacks more consistently as he gets +2 Ki for each Rainbow sphere. His links unfortunately as mentioned before, inconsistent and rather weak as he only shares GT to link with SS4 Goku while he gets the Fused Fighter link only when transforming into Majuub.
Super Kaioken Goku is a pretty good card. His passive grants him +3 ki and +100% ATK when at 50% HP or above, and his super attacks deal immense damage. On top of his decent damage output, He links amazingly well with Super Saiyan, Prepared for Battle, Over in a Flash, Shocking Speed, Kamehameha, and Fierce Battle. But be careful, since he sacrifices 7% of your max HP when launching a super attack. On the Japanese version, he loses Fierce Battle, hurting his damage and linking potential, but in turn gains the ability to nullify damage by dodging, and no longer has to be above 50% HP to gain his ki and ATK boosts.
As the sole Ultimate Gohan to use the Kamehameha technique, Gohan is a decent unit in this category. He gives himself a +3 Ki as well as a +100% ATK buff. Furthermore, if he is over 80% HP he gets a huge 120% DEF buff, making him tank a lot of hits, but if that HP goes anywhere under 80% he only gets a 40% DEF buff, but he gains a guaranteed critical hit for one attack, although he can't receive hits as well he will be able to hit much harder for that one turn regardless of enemy type. On top of that, his SA now raises his ATK for up to 6 turns and deals supreme damage. Unfortunately like all other Ultimate Gohans, his lack of Prepared for Battle hinders him, with only Shocking Speed and The Saiyan Lineage as Ki links.
While completely outclassed by his Dokkan Festival counterpart, the Extreme Z-Awakened Super Saiyan God SS Goku from the Broly Story event is easily the next best SSB Goku available if you don't have him. He greatly raises ATK for 1 turn upon Super Attacking, and has Super Saiyan, Experienced Fighters and Warrior Gods for more attacking potential. Goku gets ATK & DEF +77%. When fighting a "Movie Bosses" foe, he gains an additional Ki +4 and DEF +50%. He also has Prepared for Battle and Shattering the Limit for ki.
Buuhan, despite getting an Extreme Z-Awakening, isn't exactly a great choice to bring in this team. His nuking passive gives him +17% ATK boost as well as +10% DEF boost and 10k HP recovery for each Ki Sphere obtained. Furthermore, when he successfully K.Oes an enemy, he gets a further 15% HP recovery and his Super Attack greatly lower the enemy's ATK & DEF. His links aren't really that great here, only sharing Shocking Speed, Big Bad Bosses and Fierce Battle to link with the rest of the team.
Super Buu is the category leader for Transformation Boost but unfortunately, he isn't just the worst leader for his own team, he is a rather mediocre card overall, let alone in this category. His passive gives himself +80% ATK & DEF boost while his Super Attack lowers the enemy's ATK & DEF. Additionally after 5 turns, he will be able to absorb depending on your HP remaining. At 50% or below, he absorbs Piccolo and in that state, he recovers 15% HP while giving himself +100% ATK & DEF as well as +3 Ki and DEF +30% for all allies. At 51 to 80%, he absorbs Gotenks where in that state, he recovers 8% HP while giving himself +120% ATK & +100% DEF as well as an additional +30% ATK if target enemy has their attack lowered, up to +186% while his Super Attack will also seal the enemy. At 81% or above, he absorbs Gohan where in that state, he recovers 10% HP while giving himself +120% ATK & DEF. However, having to wait for 5 turns before you get him to transform made it rather unappealing since before that, you're pretty much stuck with someone who won't be able to hit hard or tank really well in most circumstances. Furthermore, his links are really crappy in this team as he only shares Fierce Battle as well as Kamehameha as Buutenks or Big Bad Bosses and Shocking Speed as Buuhan.
Super Saiyan 3 Goku (GT) (Golden Giant Ape) finds exceptional use on this team, acting as a massively powerful partner for all Super Saiyan 4 Goku cards thanks to Super Saiyan, GT, Fierce Battle - and most importantly, Saiyan Roar. He also provides all allies with a 33% ATK buff to boost team damage even further, and while his Golden Giant Ape transformation can mess up your rotations, it can also hit pretty hard thanks to retaining Hidden Potential System buffs and providing you with a few turns of invincibility. Goku also raises ATK for 3 turns after Super Attacking, which is nice. He'll provide more ATK than Ki, but when he brings the thunder, expect a lot of it.
Bandai really has a habit of turning near-useless SSRs into surprisingly powerful Dokkan Awakened units, and this Gohan is no exception. His passive provides +35% ATK and DEF to all allies unconditionally, and even though he does not provide ki, it is not a team that really needs ki anyway. His Super also greatly raises his ATK and has a supreme modifier. This, coupled with his 145% 12 ki multiplier, can allow him to hit pretty hard. Topping it all off as a great link set, including links like Super Saiyan, Shocking Speed and Shattering the Limit.
EZA Family Kamehameha Gohan is a rather decent unit to have here. His passive gives him a +90% ATK and +40% ATK boost when performing a Super Attack and when coupled with his EZA stats and him greatly raising ATK for 1 turn, it allows him to hit decently hard. Unfortunately, he is brought down by his lack of Prepared for Battle but he does share Blazing Battle with the LR Gohan and Goten, making him a decent partner for the LR.
While he undeniably becomes better after receiving an Extreme Z-Awakening, INT Perfect Cell is unfortunately overshadowed both the STR and TEQ version when it comes to viability. His passive gives himself +90% ATK & DEF boost and when your HP is 30% or below, he can recover 20% HP which gives the team a bit of sustainability. Furthermore he also greatly raises his ATK upon launching his Super Attack which allow for infinite stacking for massive damage. He has Revival, Big Bad Bosses and Fierce Battle to link with.
Gotenks is an unusual unit with incredible offensive power, but a somewhat restrictive passive. He gains +77% ATK unconditionally, and an additional +23% ATK when placed in the first slot (The boosts multiply, totaling +117.7%). He also gives +20% ATK to all allies when launching a super attack. Although these restrictions may seem bad, he can still hit hard regardless, and he links decently with Shocking Speed, Fused Fighter, and Fierce Battle. One drawback is that he isn't the best friend to Gogeta as he lacks Super Saiyan related links like Super Saiyan, Golden Warrior, etc. Despite that, he still is a great addition to a Fusions team.
Goku Black is the demigod leader for PHY types. His passive skill nets him an extra +3000 ATK (about +15% ATK under Final Form Coora) with each ki orb obtained, and each of his super attacks lowers the target's ATK. He links extremely well in this category, with Prepared for Battle, Fierce Battle and Dismal Future, notably sharing all but one link with the LR Goku Black & Zamasu, and has a farmable super attack. Additionally, on the Global version, he grants a +3 ki boost to Extreme type allies, and has overall greater stats.
Adult Gotenks is an exclusive to the Dragon Ball Heroes Banner and he is an okay unit to have. His passive boosts his ATK by +100% when launching a super attack, and he gets +50% ATK added to his SA modifier for 6 turns when launching a super attack, up to +100% if you super every turn. He hits very hard, and he also has Fierce Battle, Over in a Flash, & Limit-Breaking Form to link up with Goku.
Buutenks is an okay choice for the team. His Kamehameha seals the enemy's Super Attack, and he gains ATK +100% from his Passive Skill. He also lowers Super Class enemies' DEF by 50%. While his links unfortunately aren't realy good in this team, he shares both Majin and Metamorphosis to link with the other Super Buus.
This version of Super Saiyan Blue Goku is unfortunately, a rather generic damage dealer with nothing to distinguish himself from the typical hard hitters. His passive skill unconditionally boosts his ATK and DEF by 90%, and he gets an additional 50% boost to ATK when facing 2 or more enemies for a total of ATK +140%. The multiple enemy condition is great, but doesn't occur against bosses where it matters. He also has a ki multiplier of 140% and links well with Super Saiyan, Prepared for Battle, and Fierce Battle.
Super Saiyan Goku in Yardrat costume is a drop card available from New Enemies! Androids in Action Story event and for a F2P unit, he's actually quite decent. His passive gives him an unconditional +59% ATK boost and his other passive changes depending on where he is placed; as the first attacker he has a high chance to evade enemy's attacks while as the second or third attacker, he reduces damage received from normal attacks by -59% before countering them with enormous power similar to Super Vegito which allow him to deal a good amount of damage under the right setup. His Super Attack also has a medium chance to stun the enemy although that could actually be detrimental as he won't be able to counter their attacks afterward. While he has Shocking Speed, Super Saiyan and Shattering the Limit, his lack of Prepared for Battle, unfortunately, brought him down the tier lists.
AGL Super Saiyan God Goku doesn't really have anything to stood out from other SSGs but that doesn't mean that he himself isn't a bad unit. His passive skill boosts his ATK and DEF by +80% when performing a Super ATK which paired with his good ATK stat means he'll hit hard, and he gets +30% added to his SA modifier every time he launches a Super. He has a decent link set including Super Saiyan, Shocking Speed, Over in a Flash, and Fierce Battle.
This Goku made a jump with his Dokkan Awakening. His passive now gives him an unconditional +90% ATK and DEF, making him good as both a tank and a damage dealer, and he raises his ATK whenever launching super attacks. He shares GT, Over in a Flash, Golden Warrior, Super Saiyan and Fierce Battle with the team.
This Goku isn't exactly a bad card but he is unfortunately completely outclassed by both his Dokkan Fest and EZA counterpart. His passive gives him +100% ATK when launching a super attack, which while not bad, doesn't really make him hit hard with his average stats. He does have a decent linkset including Super Saiyan, Prepared for Battle, and Fierce Battle but otherwise, he is outperformed by his EZA counterparts and should be replaced whenever possible.
Goten's been a good unit for a while, but he needed a rebirth to really shine. His passive grants him +90% ATK unconditionally, and he also gets +50% ATK added to his SA multiplier for 3 turns when launching consecutive super attacks. His links are also great featuring Super Saiyan, Golden Warrior, Prepared for Battle, and Shattering the Limit. Goten is overall a decent filler unit for the category.
This Goku is a card obtainable from the DB Saga Summons. He gets an unconditional 70% increase in ATK and he also has the chance to turn into a Giant Ape for free damage but his F2P stats means that he will never be able to hit that hard. While his links are utterly trash with the sole exception of All in the Family and Shattering the Limit, having Saiyan Roar to link with the SS4s is the saving grace that prevents him from fading into total obscurity.
This summonable Super Saiyan Goku can be considered a rather generic subpar hard hitting unit with an unreliable gimmick that can be difficult to activate. Now he has an unconditional 90% boost in attack, which is a great boost, and he can survive any attack if HP is 20% or above, it might be very situational, but it's really useful. His Super Attack greatly boosts his attack for 1 turn, making him hit even harder, despite his supreme modifier. He also has great links like Super Saiyan, Prepared for Battle, Golden Warrior, and Shattering the Limit.
This version of Pan is an okay filler unit to have. Her passive grants her ATK +70% and DEF +120% for 7 turns while also raises DEF by +30% for 3 turns for each Super Attack allowing her to tank hits decently, additionally she also has a 15% chance to dodge attacks, that can be stacked everytime she appears in a rotation up to 60% total, she is similar to Dyspo in some ways but a safer bet in terms of the "if the dodge doesn't work" scenario due to the extra defense. Her links unfortunately aren't really that good here but she does have GT and Shattering the Limit.
This Gohan is very similar to the Brohan AGL one: same attack boost and almost identical links. Unfortunately, this Gohan also got hurt by not having Prepared for Battle or Shocking Speed. He still links pretty well and, with a 90% boost to attack, deals decent damage too.
Super Saiyan 3 Angel Goku is a farmable unit that comes from a long line of Dokkan awakenings, all dating back to the An Epic Showdown event and despite being a decent F2P card, he is unfortunately outclassed even by other F2P units. His passive has a high chance to increase his ATK by +180% which is rather unreliable and his best links here are Super Saiyan, Golden Warrior, Over in a Flash, and Fierce Battle.
This Super Saiyan God Goku is unfortunately on the low end of viability when compared to other SSGs. He gains an 80% ATK & DEF boost when HP is 30% or above but while that isn't exactly a bad passive, when it comes to other God Gokus, he unfortunately falls rather flat. His links are okay here, sharing Shocking Speed, Over in a Flash, Super Saiyan and Shattering the Limit.
Feet Kamehameha Goku was the 13th World Tournament reward, now available on the World Tournament Guaranteed SSR Summon. With his rebirth, he gains ATK & DEF +80% when performing a Super Attack. While that's not exactly bad, unfortunately, there are other better units with similar passive but with greater impact especially given his F2P stats. He also has a medium chance to stun so it could be a lifesaver if you're really lucky. His main links are Shocking Speed and Shattering the Limit but unfortunately not Prepared for Battle.
One of the oldest cards available from the DB Saga Summon Banner that finally got its well deserved rebirth. Now getting ATK and DEF +80% unconditionally he has a much more reliable passive, however if facing 2 or more enemies it gets and additional ATK +80% and DEF +40%, totaling at ATK +160% and DEF +120% which is really good but situational for Dokkan events, that being said he is very good for Super Battle Road where you will most times be facing more than 2 enemies. His linkset and F2P stats is what prevents him from ascending higher only having Shattering the Limit and Kamehameha.
Pan is an okay support unit. Her passive gives +30% ATK and DEF for all allies when at 30% HP or above, and her super attack gives +25% ATK to all allies for the rest of the turn. She also has excellent attack links such as Fierce Battle, though her ki links are lacking, her best being GT. There are better support units but Pan is an acceptable alternative.
This Super Saiyan 2 Gohan is obtained as a World Tournament Reward and he is quite a decent support if you build your teams to match his typing. His passive skill boosts all AGL, TEQ and PHY allies' ATK & DEF by +30% and gives them +2 Ki which depending on your setup, could actually prove to be beneficial. His links are also great in this team, featuring Prepared for Battle, Golden Warrior, Super Saiyan and Shattering the Limit.
Super Saiyan 2 "Teen" Gohan is a great support on Super AGL but here, he isn't exactly designed with a category in mind. His passive skill gives out 2 ki and 25% increase in ATK and DEF to AGL and STR type allies which is rather limited and there are a load of better supports available that isn't restricted to a specific typing. He does have great links, featuring Super Saiyan, Prepared for Battle, Golden Warrior and Shattering the Limit.
This Goku can be defined as the "Fool's Gold" of SSR summons with an utterly outdated passive and not even his EZA saves him from such status. His initial passive gives himself +77% ATK & DEF boost and when your HP is 77% or below, he gets +7 Ki and an additional +77% ATK & DEF boost but unfortunately, his horrible Ki multiplier, his low base stats even after an Extreme Z-Awakening as well as lacking Prepared for Battle means that he won't even hit that hard. While he does share The First Awakened, this card is outclassed in all aspect especially Boiling Power Super Saiyan Goku who shares both the same name and type as him.
The infamous "Trollhan" may have been improved by an Extreme Z-Awakening but he still fall short compared to his LR counterpart. His passive gives himself Ki +4 and +70% ATK & DEF boost along with an additional +70% boost if his father Son Goku is in the same rotation as him. Unfortunately, even ignoring that he shares the same name as the main leader, his low Ki multiplier, bad links, and character restriction prevent him from going ever higher than top C.
The original Future Gohan is an older rebirth that is unfortunately outdated in today's meta. His passive boosts his ATK & DEF by +70% when at 80% HP or below, and he increases his SA modifier by +50% with each Super Attack, starting with a -50% penalty. After some time he'll do decent damage, but his extreme modifier holds him back. He links well thanks to Prepared for Battle, Super Saiyan, Golden Warrior, and Shattering the Limit.
This Super Saiyan Goku is a decent Ki changer unit but unfortunately could be detrimental due to the leader's typing. His passive changes all AGL type ki orbs to INT type, and grants him +40% ATK. While it does feed Ki orbs for LR Super Saiyan 2 Gohan, it could also prove detrimental for the the leader of the team particularly as the LR SSJ4 Goku gets extra Ki for each AGL spheres he obtained. He does have a rare chance to stun on his Super Attack although it's really unreliable. He does have great links in the team featuring Super Saiyan, Golden Warrior, Prepared for Battle, The First Awakened, and Shattering the Limit.
The first LR in the game to be released, TEQ LR Super Saiyan Goku has unfortunately lost all relevance in the meta. His passive gives him +10000 ATK and +3000 DEF when facing 1 enemy. Unfortunately it's a flat modifier that ends up being completely outdated which means that he won't hit hard even at his maximum potential. That is if you even launch a super attack in the first place as his atrocious links and lack of Prepared for Battle or Shattering the Limit means that he will struggle to even launch a 12-Ki one.
Kid Goku is a pretty standard unit his passive gives him ATK +80% and has a 25% chance to transform into a giant ape twice per battle, the ape form is good to mitigate damage but usually just slows you down. While his links are utter trash, having Saiyan Roar is what saves him from complete obscurity.
Super Saiyan 2 Angel Goku is a rather outdated unit to have here. With his Passive Skill, he gains 5 Ki and ATK +12000 as the 3rd attacker in a turn. While it does mean that he can consistently land a super attack, a flat modifier means that he unfortunately won't be able to hit that hard. He does have good link Skills, namely Super Saiyan, Golden Warrior, Kamehameha, Prepared for Battle, and Fierce Battle.
Kaioken Goku is a World Tournament TUR and unfortunately, he is a rather subpar unit to have here. His passive changes all STR ki orbs into rainbow orbs and boosts his own attack by +40%. He also gains +30% ATK to his SA modifier per super attack launched, at a penalty of -50% to start. He can link decently, with Shocking Speed, Shattering the Limit and Over in a Flash but otherwise, he is outclassed by Determined to Fight Goku (Kaioken) in every way, whom he shares the same name and typing with.
Goku is a unit given as part of the Stamina Campaign. His passive increases his ATK and DEF by a max of 120% the lower your HP is, he also recovers all your HP when below 10% which can be clutch but hard to achieve. Even at full health you still get a boost, although smaller, so he always has a boost to rely on. His SA causes supreme damage and raises DEF for 3 turns allowing him to further take hits. He links greatly with the team, with links like Prepared for Battle and Shattering the Limit.
This Super Saiyan 2 Goku is a free unit distributed during the 2nd Anniversary login bonus and unfortunately, his support capability is outdated and outclassed by most of the other supports. His passive gives +20% ATK and +2 ki to all allies when at 50% HP or above, and he has a 20% chance to stun with a super attack which while useful, is rather unreliable to do so.
Often dubbed Baba shop Goku, this card gives 2 ki and a 20% attack boost to allies when your HP is 50% or more which is unfortunately rather outdated and outclassed by most of the other supports. Furthermore, he shares the same name and typing as Boiling Power Super Saiyan Goku so he can't even be considered to be viable in any category whatsoever where you can use him.
While Ahms is a great Artificial Life Forms Category support, in this category, not so much unless you run nothing but the afromented categories in this team. His passive gives himself +50% ATK & DEF boost while also giving Extreme Class allies +2 Ki and +30% DEF as well as +30% ATK for Artificial Life Forms Categories. In this category, only Cell qualifies for the criteria and not the other Super Class allies including the leader. About the only other good thing about him is that he has Big Bad Bosses and Shattering the Limit to link with the rest of the team.
While this Super Saiyan Goku great support for Super INT, in a category with various typings not so much... His passive provides +2 Ki and +25% ATK & DEF boost for all TEQ and INT type allies which is rather limited and there are a load of better supports available that isn't restricted to a specific typing. He does feature great links such as Super Saiyan, Prepared for Battle, Golden Warrior, and Shattering the Limit.
We can't have a Kamehameha tier list without talking about the move's inventor, can we? Though, unfortunately, Master Roshi (Max Power) isn't great. A Baba Shop Type support unit, he grants STR Type units 2 Ki and has a great chance to grant them an additional 30% ATK & DEF. Thus his support is somewhat limited, but it's at least going to kick in often. His links aren't actually too bad, featuring Over in a Flash, Kamehameha and Shattering the Limit as his primary links (and Infighter with a few units). Still, Roshi is held back by his Type-limited support and lack of better links than World Tournament Champion and Turtle School (as fitting as those links are). His Leader Skill makes him a great alternate mono STR leader, along with his Passive Skill, but he won't shine much on a Kamehameha team.
While this Super Saiyan God Goku is a decent support for Super PHY, in a category with various typings not so much... His passive provides +2 Ki and +25% ATK & DEF boost for all PHY and STR type allies which is rather limited and there are a load of better supports available that isn't restricted to a specific typing not helping it is that his Ki links are really lacking, only having The Saiyan Lineage as his sole Ki link.
Super Saiyan Blue Goku is the TEQ type nuke leader and while he is leading gear for Punch Machine event, in normal battles he is not really that good and could even hamper the team. His Passive grants him ATK +30% and changes Rainbow Ki to TEQ Ki. Though this can sometimes provide large TEQ fields for LRs like SSJ3 Goku and Gohan & Goten, this can also prove problematic by restricting Angel SSJ3 Goku and LR SSJ4 Goku from gaining their maximum damage output, due to a lack of Rainbow Ki. In addition, this may seal off potential Ki Sphere chains and limit the team's Super Attack consistency. Even with this drawback, Goku still has strong Link Skills to support the team, including Super Saiyan, Prepared for Battle, Kamehameha and Fierce Battle.
GT Goku is a TUR available via the World Tournament rewards and unfortunately, he is a completely outdated and rather worthless to have. His passive increases his ATK and DEF by +9000 when his ki is at 7 or more, and his super attack boosts the ATK of all allies by +25%. Unfortunately his utterly flat modifier means that he will never be able to hit hard not helped by having a F2P potential system. He does have decent links featuring Super Saiyan, Golden Warrior, Prepared for Battle, GT, and Shattering the Limit.
One of the very first SSRs to appear in the game, Kaioken Goku has unfortunately shown is age. His passive boosts his ATK by +7000 and DEF by +3000 which is unfortunately an utterly outdated flat modifier and not even good at that. About the only saving grace is that he greatly raises his ATK for every super and his links are somewhat decent, featuring Shocking Speed, The Saiyan Lineage, Over in a Flash, Kamehameha, and Shattering the Limit.
This Super Saiyan 2 Goku is a rather unique support unit due to having an immense modifier but unfortunately, his low stats as well as having no ATK boosts made this potential rather wasted. His passive gives +3 ki to TEQ and STR types which is unfortunately rather limited and utterly outclassed even by other type specific supports. Goku does links well with Super Saiyan, Golden Warrior, Prepared for Battle, and Shattering the Limit, but he's only good if you really need the ki.
SS2 Goku provides lots of ki for the team, and nothing else. His passive gives all allies +3 ki when at 99% HP or below which means that he won't give the Ki boost on the first turn he appears. His only really good links are Super Saiyan, Golden Warrior, and Shattering the Limit.
Super Saiyan 2 Caulifla and Kale are the main category leader of Joined Forces and even under an inferior lead, they still rank among the best LRs and overall card in the game. Their passive gives them an unconditional +66% ATK and DEF boost and they also get an additional +10% ATK for each Universe 6", Joined Forces or Pure Saiyans units on your team and given the fact that the majority of the top tier units fit those categories, it won't be a problem for them to gain the maximum boost. They also get an additional +1 Ki (up to 6) as well as a 6% evade chance (up to 66%) every time you attack which is backed by them launching an additional attack and if you are facing either a Pure Saiyans or Universe Survival Saga enemy, then you launch another additional Super Attack which makes them hit incredibly hard against this category which is also helped by the fact that each super raises their DEF which makes them mighty tanks just from a couple of supers. Their links are insanely good here, featuring Super Saiyan, Prepared for Battle & Fierce Battle.
Super Saiyan Gogeta is the main leader of Movie Heroes as well as an alternate leader for Fusion and is an amazing card on this team. His passive gives him a +100% ATK and DEF boost and his attacks are effective regardless of their typing while also giving him a medium chance to dodge enemy attacks which makes him a great attacker and tank at the same time. After five turns have passed, he can transform even further into his Blue form where his ATK and DEF boost is increased to +130% and he now inflicts a guaranteed critical hit against all attacks while his dodge chance is increased to high (50%) which makes him an utter monster. He links excellently in this team, featuring Prepared for Battle, Over in a Flash, Super Saiyan, and Fierce Battle.
Vegeta is the leader of the Pure Saiyans category and despite not being able to perform the Kamehameha technique, he is an excellent card in this team by virtue of both the LR's secondary leader skill. His passive gives him an unconditional +120% ATK, which lets him hit hard, and +60% DEF, which combined with the fact that he gets an additional +7% DEF per attack he makes (up to 70%), gives him a total DEF boost of +172% after ten attacks, which lets him tank incredibly well. He also launches a guaranteed 2 additional normal attacks, which makes his damage output even higher (while bringing his defense up quicker). As an added bonus, since each additionals have a separate proc chance for a Hidden Potential additional, it gives him an even higher chance for a fourth attack. But his real potential is when he transforms. As SSBE, Vegeta now gets an unconditional +130% ATK and DEF boost, removing the condition for his defense boost and getting a +10% (Maximum of 70%) chance to critical hit per attack, giving him a large chance to ignore typing and enabling him to be a monstrous attacker. His links are also fantastic, with Super Saiyan, Prepared for Battle and Fierce Battle.
Super Saiyan 4 Vegeta is the 120 lead for Super AGL and despite being old, he still remains a great card. His passive gives him an unconditional +120% ATK and DEF boost while having a medium (30%) chance of evading and countering an enemy super attack although the low chance means that you shouldn't rely on it too much. He links excellently in this team, featuring Prepared for Battle, Super Saiyan, Shocking Speed, & Fierce Battle and he can link with Apex of Supreme Saiyan Power Super Saiyan 4 Goku for a total of +50% ATK and +4 Ki through links alone.
Android #16 is the 120 leader for Androids/Cell Saga and even though he does not benefit from Gohan’s leader skill at all, he is still worth adding if you want trigger Gohan’s transformation as soon as possible. His passive gives himself +100% ATK & DEF boost while also getting a high chance to guard against all attacks. Furthermore, if he is on the same rotation as Super Saiyan (Youth) or Super Saiyan 2 Gohan (Youth), then he gets an additional +100% DEF boost to himself as well as +3 Ki and +50% ATK to all his allies which makes him the strongest support in the game on par with Heartless Destruction Buu (Kid). These traits alone are unfortunately won't make him tanking damages well enough due to getting zero boosts from Gohan's leader skill. However, this is can be used to your own benefit to lower HP threshold which activates Gohan’s Active Skill. While he unfortunately links horribly in the team, only sharing Gentleman and Fierce Battle as common links, 16's role in triggering Gohan's transformation to Super Saiyan 2 makes him worth a shot in the team.
