SS4 Goku is the top leader for Super STR teams. His Passive Skill gives him a +150% ATK boost, making him one of the most hard-hitting units in a Super STR Team. Goku's Super Attack raises his DEF by 30% for 6 turns, helping him defend much better, and he withholds a medium chance to counter the enemy's Super Attack at tremendous levels of power. His link set is amazing with Super Saiyan, Shocking Speed, Prepared for Battle, GT and Fierce Battle.
Super Saiyan 4 Vegeta is the main category leader for Vegeta's Family and is a great card to have that can also act as an alternative leader to this team. His passive skill gives him an 80% DEF boost (which coupled with his LR stats, allow him to be a great tank) and for every turn he is in, he gets an additional +20% ATK boost (up to 80%) which unfortunately means that he has to wait for at least 7 turns before he becomes a strong card. Also, he gets an additional Ki for each rainbow and STR Ki sphere obtained to allow more consistent supers while sharing the other Super Saiyan 4's chance to evade and countering enemy's Super attacks. Furthermore, his super attack uses a massive raise multiplier to his ATK and DEF so he can hit and tank even harder than usual and after 4 turns, his active skill allows him to inflict an insane amount damage to the enemy for free. He links excellently in this team, featuring Super Saiyan, Prepared for Battle, and Fierce Battle and he can link with Ultimate Super Saiyan Super Saiyan 4 Goku for a total of +50% ATK boost and +4 Ki through links alone.
Super Gogeta, the original Rainbow lead, shines once more through a devastatingly powerful Extreme Z-Awakening. Retaining his all-Type effectiveness, Gogeta's flat 7000 ATK boost has been upgraded into a 77% boost to both ATK & DEF, already allowing him to defend better than his INT counterpart below. In addition, Gogeta's Soul Punisher (Extreme) now lowers ATK & DEF, again like his INT counterpart. But Gogeta also gains an additional ATK +7% for every Rainbow Ki Sphere he obtains, turning him into an absolute monster (Family Kamehameha EZA Goten excels in this regard). Did I mention that Super Gogeta is the only non-LR unit to break a 20000 ATK stat? A well-deserved EZA that truly shows the power of a Fusion Reborn!
The most iconic moment in all of Dragon Ball Z has finally arrived and this Namek Saga transforming Goku proved to be an awesome card beyond his spectacular animations. His initial passive gives himself an unconditional +77% ATK & DEF boost while also getting an additional +15% ATK & DEF for each attack received and since they're calculated separately, therefore his boost can go as high as +181.43% while his Large Spirit Bomb gives +30% ATK boost to his allies. Furthermore, when your HP falls below 70% at the start of the 3rd turn, he transforms into the very first Super Saiyan where in this new form, he gains +80% ATK & DEF boost and when he receives an ATK, he gets a permanent +59% boost, up to +186.2% and he also has a medium chance to guard against all attacks and when triggered, it will last for three turns and gives himself a high chance to deal a critical hit. His Kamehameha also raises his DEF infinitely which makes him particularly useful against Goku's Legendary Battle. And that's not the end of it, when your HP falls below 50% at the start of the 5th turn, he unleashes his full rage where for 1 turn, you are completely invincible and can launch a super attack as early as 8 Ki, backed by him changing one Ki Sphere into rainbow spheres. His links are excellent here as he shares Prepared for Battle, Shocking Speed, Z Fighters & Fierce Battle and upon transforming, he also inherits Super Saiyan & Golden Warrior to link with the rest of the team.
The long-awaited winner of the Legendary Election, SSGSS Vegito is undoubtedly the best free LR. His passive skill boosts his ATK and DEF by 80% unconditionally and he can raise his ATK with both of his supers. He can stack up for massive damage with his 12-17 ki super, and can even tank as well since it also raises his DEF. He also raises his own ki, with the amount he gets depending on how low your HP is. He can raise it up to 10, letting him consistently launch supers and even get ultra super attacks easily. One thing that should not be overlooked is the relative ease to rainbow star him as a free LR, compared to the gacha LRs (and even among other free LRs with low drop rates). This allows him to acquire high Critical Hit and Combo Attack levels from the get-go. As an LR, he naturally has very high stats and links very well with Prepared for Battle, Super Saiyan, Shattering the Limit and Fused Fighter, the first two being almost universal among Super STR. Vegito will be a welcome addition to any Super STR team. If you have Outburst of Emotions Super Saiyan 2 Vegeta & Bulma, he can link quite well with him with most of his links apart from Fused Fighter.
Vegeta and Bulma are a fantastic card. Their passive gives them ATK & DEF +100% unconditionally meaning they can dish out high damage and tank well too. They can also counter normal attacks similarly to Super Vegito and, like the TEQ Beerus, Vegeta can also go rage mode when HP is 30% or below making him invincible and allowing him to deal extra damage for one turn. Their links are pretty nice featuring Super Saiyan, Prepared for Battle, Golden Warrior and Shattering the Limit. While their ki support is very nice, they lack attack links but a farmable super and a strong passive coupled with good stats and greatly raising ATK while launching an SA make them well worth the loss of a better attack link.
After Extreme Z-Awakening, Gohan has drastically improved into an astounding offensive unit. He greatly raises ATK for 1 turn upon Super Attacking which couples well with his immense multiplier. He begins with 3 Ki and 77% ATK & DEF at the start of the turn, and when Super Saiyan Goku is also attacking in the same turn, he'll gain an additional 59% ATK when Super Attacking, which allows Gohan to outright demolish opponents. His links of Super Saiyan, Golden Warrior, Kamehameha, Prepared for Battle and Fierce Battle remain unchanged and viable for this team, and though his defensive stat didn't get much of a raise, his attack stat has been properly boosted to display Gohan's true might.
LR Beerus & Whis are a great addition to the Super STR team. Their passive gives them an unconditional +80% ATK boost, and after receiving a hit they also gain an additional +60% ATK & DEF boost for five turns, for a total of about +188% ATK (1.8 * 1.6 = 2.88 = +188%), which allows them to hit pretty hard. Their Super Attack also allows them to regenerate health, which gives your team greater sustainability. Their lack of reliable links does hurt them a bit, with Shocking Speed as their only Ki link and Fierce Battle as the reliable damage link, but they can’t heal with Connoisseur and they can link with Umpire of Annihilation Beerus and their TUR form to activate all of their ATK links except for Legendary Power.
Ultimate Gohan is the main leader for units in the Hybrid Saiyans category, and he is amazing on Super STR. His Super Attack raises his ATK every time he uses it, allowing for his ATK to reach insane amounts, and he provides +50% DEF to all Super Type allies (which should be every member of the team considering that this is Super STR). He also has a medium chance to guard against all attacks and has a 12 ki multiplier of 150%. Gohan's only downside is his links, but he can still link well with Shocking Speed and Fierce Battle.
Jiren is the strongest leader for Universe Survival Saga, with a Dokkan Awakening that bolstered his already-monstrous presence on the battlefield. His passive gives him an unconditional ATK & DEF +130%, which allows him to hit incredibly hard, as well as tank well. He also has a medium chance to stun all enemies, which is really helpful for many events and can also help give Warrior's True Value Super Saiyan 3 Vegeta his passive ATK boost from stunning an enemy. Furthermore, his new feature allows him to have a 100% chance to land a critical hit on stunned enemies, which is awesome, but unfortunately most bosses nowadays are immune to stuns, so they won't notice about it. He has some decent links like Shocking Speed, Godly Power, Fierce Battle, and Infighter. His best partner is Toppo.
Cabba is the +50% lead for Super STR, and he does his supporting job well. He provides +3 ki to STR types and +40% ATK and DEF to Super STR types. His Super Attack also raises his ATK and DEF by 30% for 3 turns, so he can be a bit of a tank as well. He also links well with Super Saiyan and Prepared for Battle.
Originally, this Goku was already a strong unit, gaining 120% ATK and 30% DEF when performing a Super Attack, which granted him great damage-dealing prowess paired with immense damage and a 150% Ki Multiplier. Thanks to feedback from the community however, they replaced Shattering the Limit for Fierce Battle which has made him even stronger. Goku's Leader Skill kill is great for Battlefield with Ki +2 and 90% stats for Super STR units. His links are strong too, including The Saiyan Lineage, Experienced Fighters, Prepared for Battle, GT and Fierce Battle. Overall a very worthy unit of A-tier.
Goku has aged possibly the best of any unit in the game, and with his new Extreme Z-Awakening, he's now much more useful. His passive used to boost his ATK by +80% when at 30% HP or above, but now, whenever his HP is 50% or above, he gains 30% ATK, and the same when his HP is over 80%, meaning he can get up to 140% ATK, a monstrous amount. This now makes him a brute force, and while it is a little less easy to maintain, he will still get great boosts no matter the boosts he has. Along with that, he also can now greatly lower enemy DEF, meaning his damage become even fierce. The lows is that he still has Over in a Flash and Golden Warrior for ki links, but he has Super Saiyan and Fierce Battle to link for damage, so overall, a great unit now well deserving of top A-Tier.
Thousandfold Plea Goku is an awesome addition to Super STR and can act as a capable substitute leader if you lack Super Saiyan 4 Goku. His stats are poor at best for an LR, but these are more than made up for with his passive and leader skill. Acting as a nuker and a tank, he gains a 77% attack boost unconditionally as well as a 7% offensive as well as defensive boost per ki orb obtained, allowing him to hit especially hard. Furthermore, he gains a tremendous 7777 HP per orb, acting as a massive form of regeneration. His links are not the best, being his main useful ones Prepared for Battle and The Saiyan Lineage, but he's overall an awesome character.
The EZA for Super Saiyan Goten has made an already decent support unit a much better unit. His supers now also raises his DEF by 30% for 3 turns which stacks with the new part of his passive, ATK & DEF +70% instead of his original ATK +30% meaning he can tank decently. His Ki changing is still the same and he also has the disable rampage part of his passive which can be good for new players trying to beat Broly's event. Not to mention that his stats have been boosted, he now can have a level 15 SA and become level 140, but he also has a okay nuke leader skill which can be good for those who like nuking. His links while the same, are still great with his best ones including: Golden Warrior, Saiyan Warrior Race, Super Saiyan, Kamehameha and Shattering the Limit. Overall, this EZA for Goten is definitely the best out of the Family Kamehameha trio.
A once dead unit, SSJ Goku's EZA has reeled him out of his grave and has made him skyrocket into A tier. His passive now no longer has a flat boost but instead, he gets ATK & DEF +80% along with his original Ki+3, Disable rampage and the 30%> hp restriction which while it does sound bad, you're most likely going to heal at that restriction anyway. His Supers now also raises all allies' ATK by 25% for 1 turn which is usually only good when he is in the first slot. Luckily, his passive will help him tank those hits and make your team hit harder. His EZA stats have improved him slightly but his passive more than makes up for it. To top it all off, he still has his original links which are still good especially if linked with Goten in a Super STR team. His best include: Golden Warrior, Saiyan Warrior Race, Super Saiyan, Kamehameha, Shattering the Limit.
SSJ3 Vegeta is one of the best blockers in the game who gains above average stat boosts from the Hidden Potential System. Somewhat unnecessary before his Extreme Z-Awakening, Vegeta skyrockets through the tier list with a massive ATK buff of 120% when the enemy is stunned, which works well when paired with Jiren. His 80% damage reduction for 7 turns is now extended to 10 turns, and his Galick Blazer now dishes out immense damage and retains its high chance to stun. Vegeta's already-massive stats are bolstered even further, earning him a well-deserved place in this team's top A-Tier.
The shaft king returns in his SSG state this time. This Vegeta is far from bad but compared to the TEQ SSG Goku he really isn't as amazing due to over reliance on RNG and slightly worse links. His passive gives him Ki +3 and ATK & DEF +100%, just like TEQ SSG Goku, however he has a high (50%) chance to activate his guard against any attack and if there is a "Movie Bosses" enemy he gets a high (40%) chance to stun the attacked enemy. His linkset is very similar to TEQ SSG Goku, having Super Saiyan, Over in a Flash and Fierce Battle however he switches Prepared for Battle for Prodigies which is fairly rare in higher tiers (only found on Rage Vegeta and LR Beerus and Whis for top tier), unlike the very common Prepared for Battle. These couple of small flaws prevent him from reaching S tier, however he can greatly raise his ATK with each SA and it stacks infinitely allowing him to hit harder every turn compensating in damage his RNG heavy passive.
Xeno Goku is an amazing addition to the Super STR lineup. He boasts an 80% ATK & DEF buff, plus an additional 30% ATK buff when performing his immense-level Super Attack, which has a medium chance to stun the enemy. Goku also has his guard activated against all attacks, which makes him a great defender, even with his SSR stats. His Link Skills are great here, staples including Super Saiyan, Kamehameha, Over in a Flash and The Saiyan Lineage.
The new LR Pan is a pretty decent card. She possesses stun chances on both of her Super Attacks, and can recover 33% of the damage she dishes out as HP. Pan also has a 50% chance to reduce damage by 55%. She also has dec ent links, with her least usable being Battlefield Diva. The issues she has are as follows: colossal multipliers on both Super Attacks, a low ATK stat that doesn't support her 33% damage drain ability and just overall low stats due to a rank B potential system (lowest stats out of every LR in the game). Pan does provide 33% ATK to all allies for 1 turn with her Active Skill, though, which can be activated from the 3rd turn once and can work alongside her healing ability for an extra big heal. LR Pan is a great unit for SBR and EZA's where the healing is very useful. She also has GT, Shattering the Limit and The Innocents to link with.
Super Paikuhan was previously a pretty outdated unit but his awakening has changed that. His passive now gives him Ki +3 and ATK & DEF +80% unconditionally, however when facing 1 enemy he launches an additional attack with a medium (25%) chance to be a super attack, and if it's 2 enemies or more he also launches an additional attack but with a high (50%) chance to become a super attack. He still keeps his very nice ability of greatly lowering ATK on SA, sadly his linkset didn't improve much with Shocking Speed and Shattering the Limit as his best links.
Trunks is an astounding tank unit for Super STR. He reduces damage received by 40% and his ATK & DEF increase the lower his HP gets, up to a maximum of +120% ATK & DEF. His Super also raises his DEF by +30% for 6 turns so he'll be tanking a lot. The only problem with this Trunks is that he doesn't really start to gain damage until you're low on HP and at that point, you'd probably want to heal up. Other than that, he links really well with Prepared for Battle, Super Saiyan, and Golden Warrior and he functions as a great defensive unit.
Super Saiyan Trunks (GT) is one of Super STR's better units. He gains ATK +100% when performing a Super Attack, which lowers DEF to help other units hit harder. He also boasts decent stats and strong links including Super Saiyan, Fierce Battle, GT and Prepared for Battle, the last two of which supply Super Saiyan 4 Goku with 4 Ki, a feat that can only be accomplished by himself, LR Trunks & Mai and Paikuhan in the higher tiers on Super STR.
This World Tournament SSJ Goku is now much better suited in Super STR for numerous reasons. His passive gives him 2 Ki and 100% unconditionally, and whenever performing a Super ATK, gets 100% DEF, making him dish out great damage and tank a lot of hits. His SA now also gives him a 50% chance to stun enimies, making him really good for SBR in many tight situations. His links also are really good, having Super Saiyan, Golden Warrior, Shattering the Limit and Prepared for Battle. The only real flaw that puts him in A Tier is his pretty low stats, which aren't exactly something to write hom about. But still, this WT Goku is now much better suited in the teams he can be run on.
Goku is a 90% Super Class lead that is definitely one of the more amazing F2P units. He greatly raises DEF for 1 turn and causes supreme damage with his Meteor Assault, making him valuable as a defensive unit. Goku's Passive Skill grants him ATK & DEF +40% for 4 turns at the start of turn, a 30% DEF boost for every attack Goku launches (up to 120%), and a 30% ATK boost for every hit Goku takes (up to 180%). With the addition of Shattering the Limit to his linkset, along with strong links like Super Saiyan, All in the Family, Golden Warrior and Prepared for Battle, Goku has better synergy with the team, and is a great choice for Super STR.
Super Saiyan God Goku is a very strong unit. His passive skill gives him +80% ATK and DEF when launching a Super, and he has a ki multiplier of 140%, making him a very hard hitter. He also gets additional DEF with each super and also gets +30% added to his SA modifier when launching a super. The icing on the cake is his amazing link skill set, with Shocking Speed, Over in a Flash, Super Saiyan, and Fierce Battle.
This Piccolo is a great asset for Super STR as well as a great unit for SBR and World Tournaments. His passive gives him an unconditional ATK & DEF +100% and if he is facing 2 or more enemies he gets an additional Ki +6 and ATK & DEF +30%. His great self sufficiency when facing 2 or more enemies is a clear nod to modes like World Tournament and SBR since his SA deals supreme damage to all enemies and has a 25% chance to stun them for 2 turns. It also helps him immensely as he really does not have a great linkset having Fierce Battle as his main link. Luckly Super STR has a plethora of great support units to cover his link weakness especially when against a single enemy.
Goku is a great damage dealer. His passive skill unconditionally boosts his ATK and DEF by 90%, and he gets an additional 50% boost to ATK when facing 2 or more enemies for a total of ATK +140%. The multiple enemy condition is amazing, but doesn't occur against bosses where it matters. He also has a ki multiplier of 140% and links well with Super Saiyan, Prepared for Battle, The Saiyan Lineage, and Fierce Battle.
Super Vegeta / Super Trunks are....well, they're certainly something. When Vegeta is fighting, he'll stack ATK upon Super Attacking and boast a decent 70% ATK & DEF boost along with weakening Regeneration (useless outside of the Cell event). With his Active Skill, Trunks takes over to fight in his place, but although his initial 120% ATK & DEF boost is higher, he will lose 10% of it over time with each passing turn, maxing out at a crippling -80% debuff, which - albeit true to Trunks's inexperience with the Super Saiyan form at the time - really hurts him. In addition, Trunks no longer stacks ATK upon Super Attacking like Vegeta. At least ki isn't an issue for the duo, as besides their sole attacking link Super Saiyan, they have Royal Lineage, Golden Warrior, The Saiyan Lineage, Prepared for Battle and Shattering the Limit to work with. Soul vs Soul can be shared with Striking in Harmony Super Saiyan 2 Gohan (Youth).
Paikuhan's passive increases his ATK by +70% while lowering the DEF of all enemies by -30%, and he greatly lowers ATK with his super attack. This makes him one of the best choices for a defensive Super STR team as well as an offensive team, as his super attack is farmable and he links very well with Shocking Speed, Prepared for Battle, and Fierce Battle. However, most of the recent bosses begins to have immunity to all debuffs making the ATK boost the only reliable skill against them. Despite this, he still remains a decent card for a Super STR team and can link with SS4 Goku for +4 Ki.
Pan was already a decent card that was often overlooked but those times are about to end with her dokkan awakening. Her passive grants her ATK +70% and DEF +120% for 7 turns, she also raises DEF by +30% for 3 turns meaning she can tank hits even better, she might get an even better defensive buff than before however she is still very weak defensively that even with +120% she isn't guaranteed to take hits as well as expected, that is compensated with the new part of her passive which gives her +15% chance to dodge attacks, that can be stacked everytime she appears in a rotation up to 60% total, she is similar to Dyspo in some ways but a safer bet in terms of the "if the dodge doesn't work" scenario due to the extra defense. She links well with GT, The Saiyan Lineage, Shattering the Limit, Kamehameha and The Innocents.
Chi-Chi's dokkan awakening turned her into not only a great Peppy Gals unit but also a good addition to Super STR. Now with +100% attack unconditionally for herself, a sealing super attack and the ability to give Peppy Gals allies Ki +3 and DEF +120% Chi-Chi is pretty good and gives her some really good self-sufficiency, unfortunately the chances of having a unit belonging to that category are still low therefore not ranked as a support unit in this particular team since its more of a self boost. Nonetheless she can perform pretty well due to her SA not being super difficult to level up as she is a base SSR and there are quite a few SR and R Chi-Chi's to level up SA with. Her links are mediocre with the The Innocents and Shattering the Limit being her best.
Gotenks is an unusual unit with incredible offensive power, but a somewhat restrictive passive. He gains +77% ATK unconditionally, and an additional +23% ATK when placed in the first slot, for a total of ATK +100%. He also increases allies' SA multiplier by 20% when launching a Super Attack. He links decently with Shocking Speed, Fused Fighter and Fierce Battle, and is best when paired with SS4 Goku or Ultimate Gohan.
Toppo is one of the Tournament of Power units. He is definitely one of the best support units in the game, giving all allies a 35% ATK and DEF boost while reducing all enemies DEF by 50%. He also gives a 25% ATK boost to all allies with his super attack. The biggest problem with Toppo, however, is his awful linkset except for Shocking Speed and Fierce Battle, but his main role is supporting, so it won't be a big problem.
SS3 Great Ape Goku is one of the nuke leaders and SS4 Goku's best friend. His passive gives all allies a +33% ATK boost and also gives SS4 Goku a whopping +50% and +2500 ATK boost through links. But be careful! He has a 15% chance to transform into a Giant Ape. His ki links are Super Saiyan, Fierce Battle, Over in a Flash and GT.
This Goku's pre-dokkaned version was released with Full Power Frieza and really needed a rebirth. Now he has an unconditional 90% boost in attack, which is a great boost, and he can survive any attack if HP is 20% or above, it might be very situational, but it's really useful. His Super Attack greatly boosts his attack for 1 turn, making him hit even harder, despite his supreme modifier. He also has great links like Super Saiyan, Shattering the Limit, Prepared for Battle, Golden Warrior and Kamehameha.
Android #18 is a unit that balances defense with great offensive power. Her passive gives her +50% ATK unconditionally, and an additional +50% ATK and DEF when at 50% HP or above, and she gets +50% ATK added to her SA modifier for 6 turns when launching a super attack, up to +100% if she supers every turn. Therefore it is important that she super attacks every turn. Her main ki links are Shocking Speed and Shattering the Limit.
With his new dokkan awakening Vegeta got a great upgrade. His passive now giving him +90% ATK & DEF unconditionally helps a lot at making him an even better damage dealer and better tank, without having to worry at all about restrictions. Although he got a nice upgrade, the lack of Shocking Speed or Over in a Flash still hurts him, which is why he is only in B Tier, but at least he now has Fierce Battle along with Super Saiyan, GT, Royal Lineage and Golden Warrior.
One of the oldest cards available from the DB Saga Summon Banner that finally got its well deserved rebirth. Now getting ATK and DEF +80% unconditionally he has a much more reliable passive, however if facing 2 or more enemies it gets and additional ATK +80% and DEF +40%, totaling at ATK +160% and DEF +120% which is really good but situational for dokkan events, that being said he is very good for Super Battle Road where you will most times be facing more than 2 enemies. His linkset is what prevents him from ascending higher only having Shattering the Limit and Kamehameha.
Beerus is an old but strong unit that doesn't see much use. His passive has a high chance (about 50%) to raise his ATK by +200%. This is a huge boost, but most of Beerus' use comes from luck. His main ki link is Shocking Speed, though he does also have Fierce Battle for damage, and he can link with Global Harmony Through Destruction Beerus & Whis for 2 ki, 50% attack, and 5% HP from Connoisseur helps to even furthering his usage.
Gotenks is very well-rounded and fits perfectly on any Super STR team. His passive increases his ATK by +80% when facing only 1 enemy, making him useful for dokkan events, and he has a 20% chance to stun with a super attack. Gotenks also has great links such as Prepared for Battle, Super Saiyan, Golden Warrior, and Fierce Battle. He's a good buddy for Gogeta, but there are better damage dealers.
Great Saiyaman 4 is quite a nice F2P unit. His passive gives him ATK & DEF +50%, which is ok for a free unit, however where he really shines is the support he provides, giving Super class allies Ki +2 and DEF +30% as well as Youth category allies ATK +30%. Since he belongs to both he gets a total of Ki +2 and ATK & DEF +80%. His linkset isn't great however only having Kamehameha and Shattering the Limit.
STR Bota Magetta is a good unit, and much better than their PHY counterpart. They get 2 ki and 70% ATK & DEF when facing 1 enemy, which allows them to tank decently and hit decently hard, as well as an additional 2 ki and 30% ATK & DEF when facing 2 or more enemies. They also lower ATK with their Super Attack. Their links are decent as well, with Infighter, and Fierce Battle being their most notable ones. Though they might struggle for ki links if not linked with Jiren, their passive gives them a good self sufficiency.
, and unlike the other LRs counterparts, he's not here because of the bonus to his LR mate, he's here because most people won't be able to dokkan awaken him and will have to use him instead. His passive skill boosts his ATK and DEF by 60% unconditionally and he can raise his ATK his supers. He can stack up for massive damage with his Super ATK and can even tank as well since it also raises his DEF. He also raises his own ki, with the amount he gets depending on how low your HP is. He can raise it up to 8, letting him consistently launch supers easily. One thing that should not be overlooked is the relative ease to rainbow star him as a free unit. This allows him to acquire high Critical Hit and Combo Attack levels from the get-go. He has good stats and links very well with Prepared for Battle, Saiyan Warrior Race, Shattering the Limit and Fused Fighter, the first one being almost universal among Super STR. Vegito will be a welcome decent unit to any Super STR team until you can finally Dokkan Awaken him.
West Supreme Kai is a farmable unit from the The Unknown Battle of Gods and Majin story event. Probably made to give the SSR AGL West Supreme Kai a farmable SA, she is actually a very nice unit to use if you need a strong filler for your team. Her passive gives her ATK & DEF +50% unconditionally and +7% chance to perform a critical hit for each Realm of Gods ally on your team, there quite a few top tier Realm of Gods units in this team so she can end up with a good chance to crit. She deals supreme damage and raises her ATK by 30% for 1 turn so she can still hit potentially hard and her linkset isn't entirely useless featuring Shocking Speed and Godly Power, which she shares with Jiren and LR Beerus and Whis, both of which are part of the Realm of Gods category. All in all she is a fairly good unit for this team.
Goku is a Global exclusive reward for winning the 250M Download event celebration. Although Goku was the reward for winning, in the end it's more like a losing reward. While he is in most ways the same as the PHY Frieza, his linkset is quite different and overall worse, his best links are Super Saiyan and Kamehameha, which isn't bad but his ki links are lacking and that hurts his place as a filler. His passive does provide Ki +3 and ATK & DEF +77% when HP is 77% or below which is nice but that restriction is not great for such a low boost.
Barlot is a limited unit from the Dragon Ball Fusions Crossover Banner. His passive grants him +15% ATK and +10% DEF per ki orb obtained (Averaging +97.5% & +65%), and he increases his ATK by +50% for one turn when launching a super attack. Needless to say, he is very strong both offensively and defensively, making him a superb unit. However, his links are somewhat lacking, with his best being Fused Fighter, The Saiyan Lineage, and Shattering the Limit.
GT Android #18 is a farmable unit from Dragon Ball GT: Ultimate Android Saga story event. GT #18 is actually pretty good. She gets an unconditional +70% DEF and after being attacked she gets an additional +70% ATK, although this only lasts for 3 turns it can be activated multiple times in the same battle, as long as she is hit after the 3 turns have passed. Her low stats don't allow for much tanking with just a +70% boost but that doesn't stop her from being a versatile card both offensively and defensively. Her linkset is kinda of a letdown but she has GT which is fairly common in this team.
GT Goku is a TUR available via GSSR summons from the World Tournament. His passive increases his ATK and DEF by +9000 when his ki is at 7 or more, and his super attack boosts the ATK of all allies by +25%. Though he's not a great hitter, he can take hits in a pinch and his support, albeit rather weak, is useful. He links incredibly well thanks to Super Saiyan, Golden Warrior, Prepared for Battle, GT, and Shattering the Limit.
Toppo is one of the Tournament of Power units. He is definitely one of the best support units in the game, giving all Super types a 30% ATK and DEF boost while reducing all Extreme type enemies DEF by 50%. He also gives a 25% ATK boost to all Super Types with his super attack. Because they have different names, he can be used with Power Beyond Right and Wrong Toppo (God of Destruction Mode) and links great with Jiren since they share Hero of Justice. However, he only shares one main ki link with the entire team, Shocking Speed, but since his main role is supporting it won't be a big problem.
Super Saiyan 2 Trunks is a very under appreciated support unit on Super STR. His passive skill gives all STR allies +25% ATK and DEF, which helps units like SS4 Goku and Super Gogeta hit even harder and tank as well. He can also raise his own ATK with his Super, and to top it off, he has amazing links like Prepared for Battle, Golden Warrior, The Saiyan Lineage, and Royal Lineage, overall making him a fantastic support unit.
Max Power Roshi is a support unit dokkaned from the pseudo-god lead purchased from the Baba Shop for 30000 trade points (100000 in JP) and is decent as a support unit. His passive skill gives all STR types Ki+2 and has a chance to give ATK and DEF +30%. The ATK and DEF boosts have a great chance, so they will activate more often then they won't, making Roshi's support somewhat useful. He also links decently with Over in a Flash, Shattering the Limit, and Kamehameha. He's okay, but there are way better Super STR units.
One of the oldest cards in the game. This Bardock isn't too great of a support, his passive giving all allies 30% attack. He raises his attack with every super attack he launches, giving him a bit more viability. He also has good links, such as Fierce Battle, Prepared for Battle and Super Saiyan.
This F2P Kaioken Goku is a pretty mediocre F2P card. His passive can give him up to Ki +3 and +90% to ATK, but only when HP is 70% or below, which is tricky to maintain. Furthermore, his super is held back by an Extreme modifier. He can link decently, with Shocking Speed, Shattering the Limit and Over in a Flash, so he can make for passable filler, but there are better options.
Majuub is a very good defensive unit for Super STR. His passive causes him to gain +7000 ATK and DEF when at 30% HP or above, and his super attack lowers the enemy's ATK. Lowering ATK is useful on a team with few real tanks, and he can take hits in a pinch. Majuub also links quite well thanks to Fused Fighter, GT, and Shattering the Limit.
Gohan is available via GSSR summons from the World Tournament. His passive grants him +3 ki and +15000 ATK when facing two or more enemies, and he has a 25% chance to stun with his super attack. He is unfortunately very situational and you should only ever use him for events that have 2 or more enemies for a majority of the time since his only good links are The Saiyan Lineage and Shattering the Limit.
Arale is Super STR's AoE attacker. Her passive grants her +70% ATK & DEF when HP is 30% or above, making it easy to maintain and making her powerful, especially for the World Tournament, however, she is held back by her extreme multiplier and lack of common links except for Shocking Speed and Shattering the Limit.
Fasha is a pretty good unit. Her passive changes INT ki orbs into STR ki orbs and boosts her ATK and DEF by +30%, meaning she can help units like The Hope of the Universe Goku get bigger boosts from their passives, she also raises allies ATK by +20% when supering. Another one of her perks is the ability to activate Super Saiyan 4 Goku's Saiyan Roar, which greatly increases his damage output, however, they don't share any other links. Her links are lacking with Shattering the Limit being her most usable ki link.
The most common example of Vegeta shafting, Vegeta isn't as bad as people say, but that doesn't mean he's great. His passive gives him +70% ATK when at 6 ki or more, which is not bad but also not outstanding, and his damage dealing is brought down by a comparatively low ATK stat. He links well with Super Saiyan, Prepared for Battle, Golden Warrior, and Shattering the Limit, however, while he's not particularly bad, he is outdone by so many other Super STR units.
Krillin is a purchasable unit at Baba's Shop. His passive reduces damage received by -50% when guard is activated, this makes him a great tank for PHY related events and a great addition for completing the Extreme PHY Super Battle Road stage or any PHY related Extreme Z-Awaken Event, unfortunately, he has no usage outside of PHY events and he doesn't hit very hard due to an extreme modifier, low ki multiplier, and awful links.
Ribrianne is one of the Peppy Gals leaders and a farmable unit from Spread Love! Magical Girl Fighters!. She is now getting +20% ATK & DEF for each Peppy Gals unit in your team. In a full team of Peppy Gals, this is a 140% boost, which is pretty outstanding, but unfortunately in this team it's unlikely you will have that many Peppy Gals, so Ribrianne will normally only achieve 20%, 40% if lucky, and that kind of boost isn't too helpful still. Her previously terrible link set now has some redeeming qualities like having Shattering the Limit and due to addition of more units links like The Innocents and Tournament of Power can be found on top tier units. Her healing ability has also been improved, now healing 8888 health per rainbow ki sphere, meaning she can heal up to 44,440 health, which isn't alot but can come in handy.
Trunks is a nice support unit for beginners obtained from super strike events. His passive gives all allies ATK and DEF +15% making him a great choice for support, however when you have better units he will be replaced because the boost from his passive is pretty low. His only good link is Royal Lineage but he can fire supers early when SA level is 15 and has a great 12 ki multiplier of 140%.
Videl is a farmable unit from Defeat the Legendary Super Saiyan story event. Her passive has a great chance to gives all allies ATK & DEF +20%, it's a nice buff but she is an awful unit and the RNG on her passive makes it unreliable, even though most of the time its active. She can fit in if you really lack a support but there are much better support units.
Goku is the oldest SSR in the game to have not yet received a dokkan awakening, and that is very apparent throughout this card's stats. His passive gives him +50% ATK when his ki reaches 5 or more which is VERY outdated with today's meta and he has a terrible ki multiplier and an extreme modifier on his super attack. And his links are overall pretty bad with the only common ones being Super Saiyan and Kamehameha, and the lack of Prepared for Battle is another reason of why this card is bad. Overall, he needs a rebirth more than anyone else in the game.
Although he is free, this card is lacking in everything. No good links outside of Super Saiyan, a huge super multiplier, bad stats and an atrocious ki multiplier. He can fire supers early but does nothing outside of that.
Grandpa Gohan may be a simple super strike unit, but his positive aspects make him fantastic filler for Super STR. His passive skill gives him +3 Ki and +2000 DEF. The DEF boost lets him be a bit of a tank, and the Ki makes him self-sufficient. He also has extreme damage on his super, and upon reaching his max Super ATK level of 15, his damage is comparable to weaker STR SSRs with supreme damage. Overall he's nothing amazing but is a great filler for Super STR.
Yamcha is the global exclusive unit from the Looking For Mr. Right! event. Yamcha might have been the award for global losing the challenge but he ain't too bad, his passive gives him ki +3 and has a great chance of ATK +77%, he relies on RNG to do damage but at least he is self-sufficient, covering his awful links.
Super Saiyan Rosé Goku Black is a solid addition to Super STR. His passive raises his ATK by +120% and boosts all Extreme types with +50% DEF & +3 Ki, making him self sufficient. On top of that, he lowers Super type enemies' ATK and DEF by -20% and with a powerful 160% ki multiplier he'll hit hard. Goku Black possesses a very versatile link set, having links such as Fierce Battle, Prepared for Battle and Super Saiyan.
